Houston's Lift Off

My name is Ashley Hall (McDonald). I am the founder of Houston’s Lift Off. Houston’s Lift Off is a 501 c3 nonprofit. We have been established since April of 2020. We serve families who have a sick baby in the NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It is in honor of my son, Houston. He passed away due to being born premature. Houston’s Lift Off is based in Canton, Ohio.

We have a partnership with Aultman Hospital.  Our nonprofit has helped over 563 NICU families. We provide items such as gas gift cards, food gift cards, baby books, baby blankets, stuffed animals, hygiene items, catered lunches, etc. Our ending goal is to provide public housing to those who have a sick child in the hospital. It is financially hard for the NICU families, along with the emotional stress of being in the NICU.

It is our mission to help ease the stress of everyday life. There are 25 NICU rooms, we donate too 25 NICU families at a time. Our focus is Akron Children's NICU in Canton, Ohio. That is our home base and where Houston was born.
